They listened to what we wanted and delivered an excellent job. Additionally, they were able to finish ahead of the timeline we had discussed initially, which was super helpful. We worked with LCO Construction to renovate two units (a condo and a co-op apartment) in the West Village.  Every inch and detail mattered, and LCO delivered.

This team and their subs do all the heavy lifting exceedingly well, including rerouting and replacing plumbing drain lines, running gas lines, removing and recasting concrete sub floors, removing soffits, installing HVACs, stripping and refinishing wood elements, brick work, and the like.  And they also work the details — tile lay-outs are precise, cabinet installs painstaking fit and finished, wall finishes perfect, hardware expertly positioned and handled, trim and finish work ‘A1.’  We have solid wood built-ins in both units that are gorgeous and provide very much needed additional storage.

Everything is done collaboratively with Elcio and team.  It’s so important to forge good relationships with building engineers, building management, Super and city inspectors — LCO Construction is professional, personable, and incredibly capable with all parties.  We never lost sleep worrying that our project would be derailed or unnecessarily delayed by a ‘hiccup’ with one of the aforementioned parties.  It was smooth sailing with everyone, from day one to project completion.  One of the contributors is the genuine care that LCO extends to others — For example, they made the time to build an encasement for the brownstone front stoop/stairs and inner stairway so that heavy loads would not damage any surfaces.  Our Board was thrilled, as were we.

Elcio was amazing to work with—creative, resourceful, and reasonably priced for the beautiful work he does. He can build many different styles and has great workers and subs who can help with detailing. My renovation was of a 100 year old apartment, and he merged old and new seamlessly. I hadn’t hired an architect for most of the buildout, and he and his team helped plan everything. It came out beautiful and his work significantly increased the value of my apartment.

LCO did a total gut renovation of our 1400

LCO renovated our entire apartment in NYC from knocking down walls to the kitchen, bathroom and putting in hardwood floors. We don't live locally and I never had to rush in for any issues.
